Our History

           Five Points Ag Service is a full-service ag retailer and fertilizer manufacturing company. Started with the mission of providing growers in the Mid-Atlantic region with precise recommendations for products and services, we benefit your operation in a practical and profitable way. 

           The company was officially founded on January 1st, 2018, in New Holland, PA. Starting that first season with only one employee and some rented equipment, and a dream Caleb Strausser focused on custom spraying and agronomy services in the Lancaster County area. In the spring of 2019, a neighboring dry fertilizer dealer was acquired, which added dry fertilizer storage, blending, and cart capabilities to the growing Five Points product and service portfolio. In the spring of 2020, a new facility was built to provide the business with an office, chemical storage, expanded liquid fertilizer storage, and liquid fertilizer and chemical blending capabilities. Drawing from years of experience from past ag retail companies, the company continued growing steadily over the next few years by adding great team members, quality products and services, and modern equipment. Five Points expanded its agronomy services with crop scouting and soil sampling; a trial farm was also established to test and try products and practices before recommending them to growers. During this period, application services were expanded to offer dry fertilizer spreading and lime spreading, in addition to the liquid fertilizer and chemical applications. Stocked products were also greatly expanded, and a delivery service began taking chemicals and fertilizers to local growers, as well as growers in several surrounding states. In the fall of 2023, another growth opportunity presented itself, and on February 21st, 2024 the assets of Gro Mor Plant Food Co. were acquired.  This facility located in Leola, PA greatly increased liquid fertilizer storage, as well as added an ortho fertilizer manufacturing and wholesale business to the Five Points portfolio. The three generations and over 40 years of experience of the Moyer family were added, alongside their many team members in operations, sales, and delivery support.

           Today, Five Points continues the mission of Precise, Practical, and Profitable by serving customers in over 15 states in the Northeast with over 600 products and services, including liquid and dry fertilizers, chemicals, application, and agronomy services. Our team of nearly 30 team members of office staff, applicators, agronomists, delivery personnel, and sales supports our offerings to both row crop and specialty crop growers, as well as wholesale customers. Our original office facility in New Holland, PA is supported by the liquid manufacturing site in Leola, PA, as well as a satellite location in Moravia, NY.
